Empowering youth to create, learn, and grow through art, well-being, and digital skills. The Anne-Lamercie-Cédat International Academy (ALC) was born from a desire to honor late Madame Anne-Lamercie-Cédat, a woman of Haitian and Dominican heritage. Mme Cédat immigrated to Montreal, Quebec, in the late 1970s. Though she did not have access to formal schooling, she passed on to her granddaughter an invaluable legacy: resilience, creativity, the art of living, and deep love for her cultural heritage.
Her granddaughter, Spaicy Bazile, committed herself to carrying this legacy forward. Former high school teacher, then graduated as a graphic designer, she then expanded her mission to become singer songwritera and a holistic wellness guide. Inspired by her grandmother’s values and teachings, she founded ALC Academy in 2011 in Montreal, a platform that uses art to foster well-being for young people worldwide.
ALC bridges past and future, tradition and creativity, roots and global vision. It continues Anne-Lamercie-Cédat’s spirit by creating educational and cultural opportunities that support creativity, self-confidence, and personal growth, empowering each individual to reach their full potential.

SPAICY BAZILE
Founder / Artistic Director
Spaicy Bazile is a former high school teacher, professional singer songwriter, and holistic wellness guide who brings her voice, and creativity to empower young people.
A Canadian of Haitian descent, she designs meaningful artistic and educational experiences that nurture self-confidence, encourage inclusion, and raise awareness around healthy and sustainable living.
In 2011, she was awarded the LOJIQ Grand Prize for her cultural and educational project in Haiti. She was also invited to speak and perform at the 7th UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris, where she addressed themes of education, self-esteem, and youth empowerment.
Vegan for over a decade, Spaicy Bazile is the author of Vegan Creole Secrets, an award-winning cookbook recognized at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Spain (1st place – Vegan Category for Haiti). She is also the creator of Soul Body Reset, an emotional wellness program that weaves together music, voice, and plant-based nutrition.
Through her work, she shares a powerful message of hope, diversity, and well-being—bridging culture, music, and conscious nourishment to inspire the next generation.
At ALC Academy, her vision is to empower youth from within through art, culture, and conscious living.
